FAQ's
Some answers to our most popular questions, if you can't find the answer here please just give us a call.
Children
Children are more than welcome. Please see our sample children's menu and remember to include all children in the table size when booking.
Just want a Drink?
We are currently only able to accept a small number of people in for drinks on quieter evenings, whether inside or outside.
This is a temporary situation until our new lower bar and terrace is open.
The Terrace
We are trialling reservations outside however please note that if the weather is bad we cannot guarantee a table inside. In cases of no show when the weather is bad we will not charge the late cancellation fee.
Groups
Bookings for tables up to 10 can be made online subject to table availability. For larger tables please contact us. Please do not make multiple table bookings asking to be seated together as it is unlikely we can accommodate such requests.
Deposits
Credit or Debit card details are required for all bookings.
No payment is taken at the time of booking, however the card will be validated.
In case of no show or cancellation within 24hrs of start of service for your reservation,
£10 per person will be charged.
To cancel a booking we recommend emailing norbar@sydleisure.co.uk, or cancelling online via the link in your confirmation email.
Table Requests
Whilst we do try to accommodate requests for specific tables, please note this is not always possible, and that we allocate tables to maximise the number of available covers.
Accessibility
We are wheelchair accessible and have disabled facilities. Please note though, not all tables are wheelchair friendly, so please add a note to your booking so we can allocate a table correctly.
Where is the Pizza Oven?
Unfortunately due to the cost to run on LPG gas and the success of our seafood offering we have made the decision to remove our beloved pizza oven from Norbar.
It is currently safely tucked up in storage whilst we explore options for a dedicated pizzeria in Barmouth.
Dogs
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate dogs in the restaurant with the exception of service dogs. We have a small number of reservable tables on our outside terrace especially for those wishing to dine with dogs. Please note in bad weather we cannot guarantee tables will remain dry.
